Meeting on Wednesday evenings from 7pm at the Working Men’s Institute in Laxey, the Club’s emphasis is on teaching owners how to train their dogs for everyday situations using reward-based methods.

Dogs (and owners) of all ages are welcome. Puppies can attend the Club once they have completed their full inoculations.

Advice and help with any problem is available at all times from our trainers who have a wealth of combined experience. We aim to enhance communication between owners and their dogs and encourage responsible dog ownership.

We believe that dog training should be enjoyable, for both dog and owner.

IoM Yoga Network


Heidi has been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching for the past 22 years. She qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga and also with Ruth White’s Karuna Yoga. Heidi has also studied additional teacher training modules for Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga Mindfulness and meditation having trained with Deepak Chopra. Heidi teaches a variety of classes and also teaches office yoga and at festivals/events. Heidi is able to adapt yoga postures to differing ages and abilities.

Heidi is an active committee member of the IOM Yoga network which arranges courses and events to promote yoga in the Isle of Man. (see www.iomyn.co.uk)
